Egberemiri day is an exceptional event that takes place once every year. The event is aimed at bringing together all the sons and daughters of Egberemiri home and abroad, to showcase different cultural norms and to significantly plan towards infrastructural projects of the community.

Egberemiri is a sub-community in Eziudo, Ezinihitte Local government of Mbaise in Imo State.

During the event, various musical and dance groups were present, the masquerades paraded as the local Igbo underground shots (ntu n’ala) takes preeminence, filling the airs with flashes and sounds, in what is best described as a great display of the Igbo cultural heritage.

It was also in the disposable formation of everyone that the community king graced the occasion, His Royal Highness, Okechukwu Adiuku.

The President General of ECDU Eziudo Central Development Union in the person of Nnamdi Obilam presided over the event as the chairman.
