Oba Youths Attack: IPOB pays last respect as Bishop John goes home
The Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, paid their last respect to late war veteran Bishop John Ekwukponachukwuokwu Okoye on his burial.
The war veteran who died as a result of the Oba youths’ attack in his home on Sunday is being buried today in his home town, Oba in Idemili South, Anambra State.
Recall that Obinwannem news reported an incident that took place at the home of the deceased, where some youths of Oba attacked IPOB women who were converged at the home of the deceased.
War veteran John popularly known as Bishop was reportedly present during the women’s program before the youths struck, an incident that claimed his life yesterday, Thursday 16, 2020.
He died in Nnewi Teaching Hospital after he was transferred from New Hope hospital in Odakpu Onitsha.
