The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, Anambra State Command, has conducted psychological assessment test and evaluation on the new recruits currently undergoing training in the organization.

The training also involve other officers bearing firearms in the Corps.

According to the Spokesman of the command, Okadigbo Edwin, the exercise is necessary to ensure that they are mentally and emotionally fit to carry out their assigned responsibilities.

Declaring the program open , he said the central purpose of the exercise was to ascertain the psychological status of participants through identifying behavioral tendencies and competencies .

He noted that this is important in order to recommend appropriate intervention programs in the areas of psycho-social needs.
