A strange fire has reportedly razed the federal secretariat complex, along Okpanam road in Asaba, Delta State capital.

According to reports gathered by Obinwannem News, the awful incident transpired early hours of Tuesday. It was also gathered that the fire outbreak started at the NYSC office, located in the federal secretariat.

No casualties, however, has been reported thus far.

It was disclosed that, the intensity of the raging inferno could not be easily put out, despite the fire fighting machinery stationed at the complex.

Subsequently, reinforcement was mobilized from the fire service at Asaba, to help contain the situation.

The source of the fire, hitherto could not be ascertained.
