Obinwannem News My wishes: That I will celebrate my next birthday in the United State Of Biafra - Nwada Ugochinyere

While I remember, I laments

Every 15th June, from the year I was born adds up to the files of my days on this planet earth. In the beginning, God said we should multiply and enjoy the fulness of the world; but it’s saddens how it appeared vise versa.

I’ve spent my early 20s under treachery, annihilation, subjugation, slavery, etc. Is that my price to be an African?

On the day of my birth, momma, papa, and other relatives rejoiced for an additional blessing; but as time goes by, we all are suffocating. #WeCantBreathe.

Growing up was never easy, as momma had left me in this world with no trace or goodbye. Well, I struggled and survived the menace; but I remained a slave in my father’s house.

I journeyed from coast to coast, field to field, in search of peace of the mind; but all I see is mountains standing unmoved. Is this the price of freedom?

I tried to write to the world, at a point my ink dried up, my books soaked with tears, I lost my breathe and yelled #Why?

Looking so frustrated, I bowed in tears, and a song came to my heart. It was a song talking about my journey so far, then upfront, I yelled out go the world.

In this journey, we have lost so many souls, and we must not forget their sacrifices. We must match forward and never look backwards. These and more lamented my soul.

Right now, I ask Okike to give me more of these songs, I am ready to yell out the more.

Nevertheless, I remain humble, Royal and submissive to he that giveth life.

However, I ask thee oh father, to hear my cries and come to our rescue. I wanna live a life of freedom in thy kingdom!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME! Nwada Ugochinyere Onyechere
