Solution for Good Governance Supports Gov Soludo and Urges Him to Seek Re-election for Second Term – Mr Uchechukwu Aniebue
The clamour for Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo’s re-election bid is gaining traction, with members of Solution for Good Governance (SGG) urging Anambra State Governor to consider seeking a second term in office to continue his developmental strides.
Over the weekend, the Support Group held an event at the Prof Dora Akunyili Women’s Development Center in Awka, with a seminar aimed at promoting good governance and the inauguration of SGG members. It also brought stakeholders from across the state to brainstorm ways to ensure that the APGA and Gov Charles Chukwuma Soludo win the governorship elections.
Welcome everyone, Mr Onyekachi Obijiaku, State Convener of Solution for Good Governance (SGG), emphasized the importance of good governance in promoting economic development, social justice, and human development, while recognizing Mr Governor Prof Charles Chukwuma’s giant strides in the state’s security architecture, economic transformation, infrastructure development, and so on.
Engr Ifeanyi Okoma, Commissioner of Works in Anambra State, delivered his remarks as a patron of Solution for Good Governance (SGG).
First, I’d want to welcome everyone, followed by a greeting. You care deeply about what we’re doing. I’d like to thank the 21 LGA Coordinators and 326 Ward Coordinators present here for believing in the support group.
APGA cares for society’s weakest and most vulnerable members. Mr Governor Prof Charles Chukwuma Soludo began work in Okpoko, and families who are unable to pay school fees for their children are now benefiting from free education from primary to secondary school (SS3).
Mr Governor is currently implementing State schools in every locality that does not have a government school, and the free prenatal delivery system is available to everyone.
Anambra State is presently a construction site, with nearly 700 kilometers of roads awarded so far; no state government has done so before. Gov. Charles Chukwuma Soludo employed 8,115 teachers, but the UK government employed 6,000 individuals despite Anambra State’s status as a subnational. Governor Soludo is motivated to make Anambra State a better place. Let us share the Gospel of Good Governance under Gov. Soludo. We urge Gov. Soludo to run for re-election in the 2025 Anambra State Governorship election.
Dr. Law Mefor, Commissioner for Information in Anambra State, stated that the support group’s name, Solution for Good Governance SGG, is appropriate. I’d like to applaud the APGA family for ensuring that Anambra State is APGA and APGA is Anambra.
There is no vacancy in Agu Awka; the APGA government, led by Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo, is doing incredibly well. Governor Soludo outscored governors who had been in office for eight years in less than three.
We shall be vigilant in the future elections. We support SGG, and we must empower you by establishing LGA Excos. While charged them with taking up the mantle and spreading Gov Soludo’s message, he inaugurated them. Speaking further, Chief Martin Obika (Obataobie), APGA Anambra State Assistant Welfare Officer, stated that we are here today because what is occurring is for the benefit of Anambra.
APGA will not abandon Anambra State. Support groups and APGA are one; Ward Excos and Ward Coordinators must work together.
Gov. Soludo will run in the election on the APGA ticket. Let us work together as one. Let us work together to achieve large votes for APGA by raising awareness among our constituents about the need of voting for APGA and Governor Soludo to continue the fantastic work that is already being done across the state. Mrs Esther Onyekesi, Anambra State Woman Leader of the APGA, also spoke.
I’m glad to be in your company; a good thing is worth emulating, and as a support group, you’re doing the right thing by aiding the party. Our Governor is doing exceptionally well in office, and he requires our full support. Let us promote Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo’s positive message and work throughout the state. Hon. Mrs Phina Onwuachu, Deputy Mayor of Idemili North LGA, praised Engr Ifeanyi Okoma for spearheading the support group.
She asked members to strongly support Gov Soludo and APGA by remaining resilient and resolute as we approach the polls, urging them to participate in their respective LGAs for the Healthy Living Programme by partaking in the weekly fitness activity holding every Saturday at their LGA Headquarters.
Iykon Okoli, APGA Deputy Organizing Secretary for Anambra State, emphasized the significance of party unity and togetherness in achieving electoral successes. We must work as a team and together, urging members to rally behind Mr Governor Prof Charles Chukwuma Soludo, whose infrastructure developments are clearly visible to everybody.
In his keynote lecture, Chief Alex Chukwurah (Gov Obosi) emphasized the importance of purposeful, visionary leadership and strategic planning in governance, as seen presently under the administration of Mr Governor Prof Charles Chukwuma Soludo.
He complimented Governor Soludo for his remarkable turnaround of the state and urged voters to support his re-election campaign.
Similarly, Hon Izuchukwu Obiora said Go to your Ward; the work is now at the grassroots. The solution is here; spread the wonderful efforts of Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo. Gov Soludo is God’s gift to Ndi Anambra, as evidenced by his positive democratic dividends throughout the state.

The 2025 Anambra State Governorship Election is a walk in the park, as Gov Charles Chukwuma Soludo’s excellent works speak for themselves, having put a stop to the state’s age of schools without instructors.
During the 2021 Anambra State gubernatorial debate, Gov Soludo, the then-APGA Gubernatorial Candidate, stated that “if I win this election, I will hit the ground running with a visit to Okpoko.”. Today, Okpoko has almost 16 kilometers of roadways, a General Hospital, and safe piped water.
