The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, has blamed the quietness of the Igbo Apex Socio-Cultural group Ohaneze Indi-Igbo over the recent rape, abduction and killings of people in Igbo land on treachery.
Mazi Nnamdi Kanu during his broadcast on Radio Biafra on Sunday confirmed that so many Igbo people have been killed and abused in recent times by the Fulani herders hovering around.
According to Kanu, the Ohaneze Ndi Igbo group on seeing these activities by killer herdsmen has been quiet which shows that they are traitors. He faulted Nnia Nwodo, the Ohaneze group president, of being a member of a treacherous family.
Kanu explained that a young lady was abducted by Fulani herdsmen and raped in the presence of her parents at Ayamelum Local Government Area of Anambra state while nothing is done to save her.
The 22-years-old girl was raped and abducted before her helpless parents by Fulani herdsmen at Ayamelum L.G.A. of Anambra state, she is yet to be seen since.
He further explained that another girl was raped to death and butchered into pieces at Uli Anambra State by the same Fulani herdsmen and nothing has been done to derive justice.
He also called on the state governor, Willy Obiano and other prominent men in Anambra to live up to responsibilities.
Kanu in his words:
“Have you wondered why they are killing people in our land but Ohaneze President General, Nnia Nwodo cannot speak? It’s because he is a traitor and comes from the lineage of traitors. His father was a traitor, that was the reason Barclays Bank gave his father all their money after the war’.
“Another girl has been raped to death and butchered into pieces at Uli, in the same Anambra state, she was dismembered completely. Where are the governors and Ohaneze?
“Where is Willie Obiano? I don’t know what voice to use so that you people will understand the mess you are in, because you people have no shame.
“And you are walking about your business as if nothing happened because is not your daughter that is butchered. Do you see why I speak to you the way I do because you have no empathy? you are heartless and not human”, he angrily said.
