Pro-Biafra group, The Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) has cautioned that nothing harmful should ever happen to the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, who is currently in the country’s department of state services (DSS).
MASSOB also called on the International Community, such as the United Nations, United States of America, G8 Nations to warn Nigeria federal government to stop threatening Igbo people and save IPOB from political and economic annihilation by sanctioning Nigeria state for her human rights abuses.
This was issued in a statement by MASSOB’s National Director of Information, Edeson Samuel alleging that the Nigerian Government by its actions, statement and conducts sanctioning all manner of terrorist activities against the Igbo’s with the backing of the president.
The statement reads in part:
“We the Movement for the actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra, MASSOB is beckoning on the United Nations, African Union, United States of America, G8 Nations, and International Human rights organization to save the Indigenous People of Biafra from political and economic annihilation by sanctioning Nigeria states for her human rights abuses.
“We also noticed that the worst activities of bandits and Boko harram is unrepentantly backed by the government. These atrocious acts of the Nigerian government have led to the killing, unlawful arrests, abductions, torture and detention of innocent Biafra agitators.
“MASSOB is warning that nothing harmful should ever happen to Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, Sunday Igboho and other Biafra/Oduduwa freedom agitators that have been held tortured, starved, denied medical attention and are being hunted.
“We wish to inform the people of Biafra, that MASSOB has finalized plans through our legal team to sue Mohammadu Buhari led Nigerian government to International Criminal Court of Justice, Hague”.
The Pro Biafra group, condemned the attack by the Nigeria security agents on members of Oduduwa Republic who non violently had a rally in Lagos on Saturday; it added that such brutality would not obstruct the secessionist of Oduduwa Republic from agitating for their independence.
While commending Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom for his courage in speaking the truth, MASSOB berated the presidency for rearresting Nnamdi Kanu, whereas murderous armed terrorist Fulani herdsmen with AK 47, are embraced with kids gloves.
“They kill people at will, that are being pampered as the president kinsmen. MASSOB will continue to keep the world on notice that Buhari and Governor El Rufai of Kaduna State, are real instigators and sponsors of terrorism in Nigeria.
“The only solution to Nigeria political and ethnic crises is to conduct a Referendum, to allow the Indigenous People to decide, if they still want to remain in Nigeria or not. Anything short of that, even with the arrest of Kanu, and other freedom fighter, Nigeria will never know peace.”
