Lekki Massacre: Shootings ordered by Tinubu not Sanwo – Nnamdi Kanu
The leader of Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has reacted to the army’s claims that troops involved in the Lekki shootings were deployed at the order of the Lagos state governor, Jide Sanwo-Olu .
The Biafra leader quickly condemned the claims, adding that the shootings were masterminded by national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
He also wondered how a governor was able to issue commands to the military.
Lagos state had commenced judicial inquiry into the shooting, meanwhile, the Nigerian Army had continuously denied the shootings.
Reacting, via his Twitter page, Kanu said, “Nobody should believe Nigerian Army @HQNigerianArmy’s claim that it was Jide Sanwo-Olu Lagos State Governor @jidesanwoolu that ordered for soldiers to be brought to #Lekki. It’s a brazen LIE.
“Since when did Governors become Army Commanders? #LekkiMassacre was ordered by Bola Ahmed Tinubu through the Fulanized @NGRPresident & executed by a murderous Fulanized Army.”
