Lagos Government Seals Cubana Chief Priest’s Restaurant Over Noise Pollution, Environmental Infractions

The Lagos State Government has sealed Donald’s, a popular restaurant in the Lekki area owned by socialite Pascal Okechukwu, aka Cubana Chief Priest. This decision was announced by Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, on his X account on Sunday.

According to Wahab, the action followed repeated warnings due to noise pollution and other environmental infractions. The Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency (LASEPA) had issued several warnings to the eatery, which failed to comply. “After several warnings and abatement notices, LASEPA sealed Donald’s Fast Food on Adebayo Doherty Street, Lekki 1 over noise pollution and environmental infractions,” Wahab stated.

The closure is part of the Lagos government’s efforts to enforce environmental regulations and address concerns of residents in the area. LASEPA has been working to ensure that businesses operate within established guidelines to maintain a safe and healthy environment.

The sealed restaurant, Donald’s, is located on Adebayo Doherty Street, Lekki 1. Cubana Chief Priest, a popular socialite and Instagram celebrity, owns the eatery. The Lagos government’s action serves as a reminder to businesses to adhere to environmental regulations and respect the community’s well-being.

The development has sparked interest among residents and environmental advocates, who welcome the government’s efforts to address noise pollution and environmental infractions.
