Obinwannem News Kano State Confirms 5 New Cases Of The Coronavirus

The State Government of Kano has confirmed 5 new cases concerning the pandemic, bringing the total number of the confirmed cases to 9.

This was disclosed by the Media aide to Governor Abdullahi Ganduje, Salihu Tanko Yakasai, on his Twitter account, on Wednesday.

The NCDC has updated the confirmed COVID-19 cases for 15th April as follows: in Nigeria as follows;
Total Confirmed Cases- 407
Total Recoveries- 128
Total Deaths- 12

Lagos State Discharges 16 Coronavirus Patients

The Lagos State Government has declared 16 Coronavirus patients recovered and fit to return to their families.

The Governor of the state made this declaration in a series of tweets on the blogging site Twitter, on Wednesday evening, April 15.

Nigeria has recorded 407 cases of COVID-19 with as many as 12 deaths, while 128 patients had fully recovered nationwide.

Lagos State Records Another COVID Death

The death of another Coronavirus patient has been confirmed by the Lagos State Government.

The Commissioner of Health in the state, Prof Akin Abayomi, divulged this knowledge, via his Twitter handle.

He further noted that the deceased was a 63 male Nigerian, who had no history of travel or contact with any confirmed case.

With 34 New cases in the country, the total confirmed cases had risen to 407 on 15th April.
