Three months after Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodinma dissolves 20 Commissioners appointment, the Governor has decided to call back Mr Cyprian Akaolisa back to office to continue as the Attorney General and Commissioner for justice.

This was confirmed by the Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Mr Declan Emelumba during an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Owerri on Monday.

Recall, that the Uzodinma on May 12, 2021 relives the appointment of 20 his cabinet under his administration, eight Commissioners were not affected by the development.

According to Emelumba, Akaolisa was never among the Commissioner dropped, when the executive council was dissolved.

Emelumba accepted the blame noting that, “This error which occurred when I was announcing the Commissioners retained by his Excellency the Executive Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodinma, is highly regretted.

” I accepted responsibility for this error”.

“Consequently, the government has directed that the Hon Attorney General and Commissioner of Justice, Bar C. O. C Akaolisa should immediately resumes his normal duties as he was never dropped from the State Government”.

Subsequently, Emelumba said the fate of vacant seats in the Government House, would be determined by Imo State Governor.
