Imo born teen invents ultra-light aircraft

An Imo born identified as Akobundu Kenneth has invented an ultra-light aircraft.

The 19 years old who hails from Umueziagu in Ehime-Mbano, Imo state is a secondary school leaver.

Speaking with newsmen on Sunday in Mbano, Kenneth revealed his source of inspiration as God.

Kenneth also said that he never attended any technical school, but has been influenced by a supernatural gift of creativity since his childhood.

“The project itself is an experiment, and a visual light aircraft made with fabric material and some other major components.

“If you had seen it from the start, you’ll notice that everything was in parts, so we had to fix them together and make it work out.

“The description of the project is an ultra-light with twenty horsepower engine powered. it reaches the top speed of 30 miles per hour.

“When asked what he intends to achieve with the aircraft, Kenneth said he intends to make the aircraft fly.

The aircraft runs on fuel with It is a multipurpose Qlink product propeller engine. Kenneth also told Obinwannem news that he had the assistance of his little brother during the project.
