Amidst the controversial threat from the Abia State government on anybody that reveals or writes about the suffocating circumstances surrounding the state, the dilapidated and decayed status of particularly, Aba the commercial city of the state has popped up on social media.

Areas include

Ngwa Road, Port Harcourt road, Asa road, Amaogbonna, Eziukwu road, Ndoki road, Aba Owerri road, Osusu road, Ohanku road, Obiora by east, Umuojima by Port Harcourt express road, Osisioma express road, Port Harcourt road by Uratta, Omuma road, Faulks Road, Cemetery market, to mention but few.

Abia state is currently governed by Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu. He is born and brought up in Obingwa Local Government of the state. However, he’s Nwa Aba (Aba breed).

Before his election into the government house, the indigenous of Ngwa and inhabitants had looked up to him for a better state.

Moreover, the good road, steady electricity supplies, etc were his campaign promises during his contests.

Unfortunately, the inhabitants of Aba Ngwa and Abia, in general, have lost faith in the present administration.

This, as a result, has tantamounted to protests and various rallies by different groups consisting of men and women asking the government of Ikpeazu to do that which he was elected for.

Meanwhile, indigenous of Abia domiciled outside the state have been thrown into confusion as the evidential pictures circulate the social media. Most of them have found it difficult to believe.
