Herdsmen attack community, kills couple in Ebonyi
In a fresh attack by a group of cattle herders in Oziza Afikpo, Ebonyi state, a man and his pregnant wife were murdered.
The victims identified as late Mr. Onya Oko and late Mrs. Ngozi Onya Oko were found dead in their rice farmland at Amata in Oziza Afikpo South LGA.
Obinwanwannem gathered that the deceased had been missing 24 hours before their dead bodies were found inside the farm.
Reports gathered state that the community leader and other community dwellers had earlier informed the Nigeria police, Afikpo division on hearing the news of the missing couple, after which went in search of the murdered persons in the farm.
The police finally found their dead bodies in their rice farmland.
After series of investigations by the police and the hospital, it was confirmed that the wife, late Ngozi Onya who was pregnant suffered bruises in her private part as a result of multiple penetrations and rape by the murderous Fulani herdsmen terrorists.
The husband was tied with rope on his neck, hands, and legs to die slowly as he watched the horrible death of his beloved wife after being raped helplessly before him.
