The Anambra State Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, has appointed 11 more individuals into various key positions in the state.
Among those appointed by Prof. Soludo is Mr Obumneme Akunyili, the last son of former Director-General, National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control, late Prof. Dora Akunyili.
Obumneme would be taking office as the Director-General, Project Monitoring Office.
The appointments was announced in a statement signed by the state’s Commissioner for Information, Mr. Paul Nwosu, and made available to journalists in Awka on Thursday.
According to the statement, the new appointees and their portfolios include Special Adviser, Legislative/State Assembly Matters, Rt. Hon. Anayo Nebe; Special Adviser, Political Matters, Dr. Alex Obiogbolu; Special Adviser, Medicals and Pharmaceuticals, Dr. Godwin Nnadozie.
