Governor Mba honoured Dr. Aminu Maida, the Executive Vice Chairman of the Nigerian Communications Commission.
I visited Dr. Aminu Maida, Executive Vice Chairman of the Nigerian Communications Commission, yesterday in Abuja.
Our discussions focused on strategic efforts to improve collaboration for the benefit of Enugwu State and the nation as a whole.
We discussed numerous important initiatives, including the construction of the Digital Industrial Park in Enugwu State, which is set to become the South-East’s innovation hub.
We also talked about finalising and commissioning the Digital Bridge Institute, as well as examining proposals to transform it into a digital skills university or institute of technology.
Furthermore, we investigated the implementation of zero right-of-way fees in Enugwu to promote participation in the National Broadband Alliance for Nigeria (NBAN) scheme, as well as collaboration with the NCC Emergency Communication Centre to assist the Enugwu State Government Command Centre.
The interactions were beneficial, and I genuinely appreciate the NCC’s efforts to develop the infrastructures that will unleash and drive technological breakthroughs for the betterment of our nation as a whole.
