Portuguese midfielder Bruno Fernandes Strucks his 78th free-kick goal, that gave Manchester United a well deserved 3-2 win over Liverpool FC in the fourth round tie of the FA Cup, at Old Trafford Sunday evening.
Red Devils Striker Greenwood opened the goals for Manchester United before Egyptian player Mohamed Salah equalised in the first half.
Rashford capitalized on 49minitues defensive error to score the second goal 2:1, before Sallah restored it at the 59miniutes, 2:2.
Fernandes took the game before the reach of the Jurgen Klopp-trained team with a well struck free-kick 3:2.
Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer speaking after the match said: “It’s fantastic to win games against last year’s champions – they are a fantastic team and we have had good results over the past couple of years playing different systems but today we played well and won on our terms.
“We have found a way that we and the players believe in and we are getting stronger and stronger. Our mentality to come back from 1-0 down. We have shown it so many times this season. Physically we have got stronger and stronger and lasted to the end of games a lot more.
“That’s the confidence boost that we can match the best with our style of football.”
