Manchester United missed a chance to go level on the Premier League table with arc rival Manchester city in the Saturday’s clash with Everton.
The Red Devils who had shown an improved form recently threw away a big chance that would have defined the league competition positively.
The Ole’s side comceded a late heartbreaking goal when Dominic Calvert Lewin carefully masterminded a wonderful assist from Harry Keane to grab an equalizer in the 95th minutes of the game.
The Old Trafford team was having a very good game, having scored two goals in the first half and Mactominay adding another one on the 70th minutes but all that efforts was thrown away as the hardwork of the Ancelotti’s side paid off with Doucoure, James Rodriguez and the last minute stunner from Calvert Lewin made sure the visitors left the Old Trafford with a point.
To further add to the ‘woes’ of the Red Devils, Paul Pogba limped off the pitch towards the end of the first after simply playing a pass to Victor Lindelof. The defensive midfielder might miss the club’s next match with Westham United in the FA cup.
Ole Gunner Solksjaer’s United will face Westham in the FA Cup, and will be travelling to see the Westbrom in their next premier league match.
When asked about the severity of Pogba’s injury, he [Ole] said it was yet to be ascertained.
