EndSARS Protesters show up with dogs for security
Protesters in some parts of the country have resorted to security dogs to scare off hoodlums and provide an extra layer of security during protests.
Reports of attacks by hoodlums in the Alausa area of Lagos, Delta, Osun states, and the inaction of the Nigerian security forces gave rise to this ingenuity.
The entire nation united under one umbrella #EndSARS to protest the rising difficulties facing ordinary citizens due to bad government governance and insecurity in the country.
The Special Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS is in the center of it all. Calls for its complete disbandment was thwarted by the government after promising the disbandment of SARS, resorted to simply renaming the unit to SWAT, Special Weapons and Tactics Team, a move that incensed the public and made evident in the increased number of protesters.
