According to the WHO, a sharp rise in the number of Coronavirus confirmed cases and lack of an adequate number of ventilators in the continent, could make this become reality.
Nigeria, Africa’s most populous nation lacks equipment that could help curb the virus and given that the number of COVID-19 cases has risen 493, a mass wave of infections could come to actuality, if not properly contained.
