Eat a healthy diet.
A healthy diet can greatly reduce your risk of stroke. High fiber foods such as raw or lightly steamed vegetable, fresh fruit, whole grains, beans and nuts will improve health and quality of life.

Reduce your blood pressure. If you have high blood pressure, do what it takes to naturally lower blood pressure to a normal healthy range.
