Obinwannem News Chelsea holds tie with Leeds United

Chelsea football club was held to a frustrating goaless draw Saturday afternoon at the Leeds city stadium.

Thomas Tuchel’s side was hoping to cement their place in the top four, but met a strong resistance against the former championship side.

The Blues has played 11 matches unbeaten and playing out a draw with Leeds implies that they have now played four draws in twelve games with eight winnings, since Tuchel took over.

The both team wasted a few chances and could not convert most of the opportunities. Ben Chilwell missed a clear one-on-one with Leeds young goal keeper; Edourd Mendy made an impressive saved to extend his clean sheet to 19.

Patrick Bamford was forced out with an injury, and was replaced with Rodrigo; while Timo Werner replaced Paulisic who has not been spectacular in the match.

Chelsea FC sits just two point behind third placed Leicester city with Manchester city and Manchester United on the first and second, respectively.
