As at the time of writing this report, Boko Haram stormed the town of Geidam in Yobe State firing guns sporadically.

The natives are currently running Helter-skelter. Some are running into the bush while some are leaving the town to avoid being killed or kidnapped.

At about 7pm on January 6th, 2021, Bokoharam stormed Geidam town which is just 200 km away from Damaturu with trucks, killing and maiming people. Such a bad way to start the new year.
