Popular tele-evangelist Temitope Balogun Joshua known as T. B Joshua was said to have passed away Saturday evening, at the age of 57.
The news regarding T. B Joshua’s death came as a rude shock to many. Several people have been expressing their thoughts on Twitter, and Instagram to comment on his sudden demise.
However, no official statement has been released from his family to this regard.
A very close friend of Joshua, Femi Fani Kayode confirmed the news of his death in a tweet.
He wrote, “The passing of my brother TB Joshua saddens me deeply. At 3:00am this morning, i was told by one of his daughter, that this was false news, and I tweeted as much. Sadly, I was misled. (Five) 5 minutes ago, the same person called me, and confirmed the story.
According to his Church, Synagogue Church of all Nations (SCOAN), the Evangelist died after concluding a Church program yesterday.
SCOAN said Joshua confirmed his death through his last words to the church, when he said; “watch and pray”.
Also, he was quoted to have said that “the life for Christ is all we have. One life for Christ is so dear”.
Until his death, T. B Joshua was the founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations ( SCOAN). He was a well known pastor, with multitude of followers. Raised in poverty and managed to turn his life with his hardwork, and putting his faith in God.
