Identified men of the Nigerian Police Force shot a tricycle rider after failing to remit ₦100 extortion, on the early hours of Thursday, (Today).

Reports obtained by Obinwannem News confirmed the instant death of the cyclist following the shooting of live bullet.

The Police officers who were stationed at at Mgbuchi, Rupokwu, Port Harcourt, the capital city of Rivers State, were said to have demanded ₦100 from the deceased.

However, reports gathered that the deceased on refusing to remit the token, was shot dead by the officers. As at the time of this report, there is an ongoing revolt from residents.
