A Federal High Court in Lagos has convicted a former governor of Abia State, Orji Uzor Kalu, who was charged with N7.1bn fraud.

The court on Thursday ruled that former Governor of Abia State, Orji Uzo Kalu, his firm and one other, are GUILTY of ₦7.65 billion Fraud.

Note that Orji Uzo Kalu is now representing the Abia North Senatorial districts in the Senate.

Kalu’s co-defendants are his firm, Slok Nigeria Limited and Udeh Udeogu, who was Director of Finance and Accounts at the Abia State Government House during Kalu’s tenure as governor.
