Obinwannem News Breaking News: Magu Suspended For Re-looting Recovered Loot

Ibrahim Magu the acting chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, (EFCC), has been suspended by the presidency after series of questioning for the recovered loot under his care.

Magu is alleged to have looted funds recovered under his leadership, reason presidency gave the order for him to be suspended as EFCC Boss.

Recall that Magu was arrested yesterday by the Department Of State Service (DSS). According to the statement by DSS, Magu was found guilty of sabotage, unauthorized removal of EFCC files, prejudicial to state security, acts unbecoming of a Police officer and withholding of EFCC files.

Meanwhile, Magu was detained at the FCID in Area 10, Abuja, on Monday night on the orders of the committee that also queried him on Tuesday morning.

A source who requested to remain anonymous revealed this to our correspondent, that Magu has been suspended by the presidency.
