A report by Daily Trust news has confirmed that there was a fire incident at the Aso Rock Presidential Villa in Abuja on Thursday.

Based on narrations by the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, the incident which appeared to be a minor one was linked to an electrical spark.

Shehu noted that the incident was recorded Thursday afternoon at a store near the State House Chapel in the Presidential Villa, while he confidently ensured an immediate control by alert staff with the use of fire extinguishers.

He also, confirmed that there were no injuries or serious damages recorded.
