A source has told Obinwannem News that a group of angry citizens attempted to attack the Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodinma at Mmahu community, in Ohaji Egbema Local Government Area.
The youths of Mmahu community upon sighting the Governor’s convoy started shouting “Onye Oshi Vote, Onye Oshi Vote” which translates to “Election Thief”.
Some threw bottles and other objects within reach in the direction of the governor’s convoy damaging his SUV in the process.
Another source confirmed to Obinwannem that the windshield of the governor’s SUV was shattered, however, the governor was not harmed as his team of security operatives were able to whisk him away immediately.
