Obinwannem News BREAKING: FG allocates N380B for prosecution of B’Haram

The President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration has allocated N380 Billion in 2021 Budget for the ‘Prosecution’ of Members of the Islamist terror group, Boko Haram.

This is according to solicitor-general of the federation, Dayo Apata who appeared before the Senate committee on judiciary, legal and human rights matters, on Monday, to defend the ministry’s 2021 budget proposal.

Recall, that the Ministry of Justice had earlier proposed N2 billion to cover its legal services for the 2021 fiscal year, and parts of the budgets had been allocated for the trial and prosecution of members of the terrorist group.

Meanwhile, same amount was earmarked to be spent on Health of about 200million Nigerians in 2021 and almost the budget of 6 states in the N/East in 2020.

Also to be noted is the fact that Buhari’s Govt is sympathetic to the Jihadist group and has released and compensated over 10,000 of their members arrested in battlefields by the Nigerian troops. Meanwhile, unarmed IPOB members and #EndSARS protesters are being ”massacred” in widespread reports for peacefully exercising ther most basic human rights.
