At the expense of the Monday sit at home declared by the indigenous people of Biafra IPOB, Aba was on total lockdown.
According to the correspondent who observed the situation, the whole place in Aba, Abia state was totally lock down. It was observed that the new market park and the shopping centre Aba was totally deserted unlike before, not even one shop was open. The correspondent reported that the new market is always a very busy market on the normal day.
Moreover, the sit-at-home was really observed in Nsukka, Enugu State, as the market was shut down, many shops was locked, roads were deserted, filling stations and banks was also shut down.
The sit at home has been observed since last month in the south East.
