Uwazuruike In a statement by Biafra Director for Information, Media and Publicity, Elder Chris Mocha, In what appeared to be a Bombshell and surprises to many BIM- MASSOB followers.
The New Biafran leader, Chief Ralph Uwazuruike, during a meeting held at Ojukwu memorial library, Area G, Owerri, the Imo state capital, requested the members not to bury him in the ground or whenever he died, also pleaded with them to among other things ensure that after his death, that the necessary funeral rites according to Igbo customs and tradition are performed for him.
A speech that was considered shocking to members of BIM- MASSOB, Uwazuruike observed that Ghandhi being one of his heroes after Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu lived a life worthy of emulation stressing that the organization has been able to lay the solid and permanent structures for a New Biafran Nation which nobody can stop.
He promised that he will follow Mahatma Ghandhi’s footsteps to the end by not taking up any political position whether elective or by appointment in New Biafran Regional Government.
Chief Ralph Uwazuruike, however, accused his Igbo tribesmen of being impatient and always in a hurry, pointing out that everything they do, an average Igbo person wants quick and immediate profit or income to the detriment of the ethnic group.
According to the New Biafran leader, ‘If I die today get planks and tyres make blazing flames and burn my corpse to ashes , then gather these ashes in different-different parts, then on no account will you bury me with casket or in the ground also make sure you throw them inside flowing Rivers in Biafra land”.
