Another EndSARS protest hits Rivers
A large number of youths have trooped out en mass today to demand a total reform of the Nigerian police units in the Rivers State Capital, Port Harcourt city.
Before now, there had been protests in the state amid warnings by the state government against any form of protest.
However, the State governor, Nyesom Wike seeing the momentum, had joined the many voices of protesters to demand change in the way public officials discharge their duties.
Similar protests have been ongoing in different states across the country, and every effort to stop the protesters has proven abortive.
More than ten protesters have been killed to date while many had sustained life-threatening injuries as a result of a security clampdown on protesters.
