The Indigenous People of Biafra IPOB were gathered in the land of Anike Umumba Ndiagu community in Ezeagu LGA in Enugu state today 9th November 2019 to pay the last earthly respect to the IPOB former deputy Coordinator in China, Mazi Okechukwu Nwoye who passed on in September.

The people of Anike were indeed astonished at the uncountable number of IPOB members who greatly represented the global family worldwide.

IPOB used that opportunity to sensitize the community and asked them to open an IPOB family meeting to join the struggle for the restoration of Biafra.

The deceased was the former deputy national coordinator of IPOB China and was also a dedicated officer in the course.

Meanwhile, Mazi Ezekulie had told our correspondent that the deceased left China on the 9th day of January 2019 heading back home where he met his untimely death.

Mazi Ezekulie made it known that the deceased served the Indigenous People of Biafra as a deputy coordinator and also, national coordinator within the range of four years in China, and as a matter of fact, he was succeeded by another person during his stay in Biafra and unfortunately couldn’t return back to China alive.

He stressed further that it was unfortunate for them to wake up on 13th September with the sad news of his sudden death at his home town.

When asked the cause of his death, he stated that the deceased was not sick but died after going out to urinate in the morning of 13th September 2019.

Mazi Okechukwu left behind, his two kids, wife, brothers, sisters and the rest of the family.
