Obinwannem News Aloy Ejimakor raises alarm of allerge death threats from IPOB's members

One of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s lawyer, Aloy Ejimako has said he had being receiving death threats from the people he has been defending for years.

He disclosed this in his Twitter handle on Monday, Ejimakor linked the threat of murder from proponents of the outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) to the suspension of the sit-at-home.

He clarified that Kanu did not pass the sit-at-home message that was started about three weeks ago through him, as the message “was already delivered by others days before I visited him on 9th August”.

“I can no longer keep quiet because I’m receiving DEATH THREATS from people I’ve been defending for years. Hear this: Onyendu DID NOT pass the SIT AT HOME message through me. The message was already delivered by others days before I visited him on 9th August. Check social media,” Ejimakor wrote.

IPOB is canvassing for the secession of Eastern Nigeria. It’s leader, Kanu, is currently in custody of the Department of State Services (DSS).
