Obinwannem News Magu's survival keeps diminishing as more illegal assets are found under his control

The embattled Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Ibrahim Magu is currently faced with a more precarious situation following multiple links of illegal possessions and assets
under him, outside and within the federation.

Obinwannem news gathered that his survival is very unlikely especially after recent investigation proves that over 380 houses and seven vessels loaded with crude oil coupled with other assets worth N37 billion are under his care.

Magu is currently under probe by a panel of the Federal Criminal Investigation Department, FCID, Area 10, Abuja, where he is being held under the orders of the Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami(SAN).

Magu, being confronted with more allegations by the Justice Ayo Salami-led Presidential panel was asked on Wednesday to account for the 380 houses and seven vessels loaded with crude oil.

Magu was also quizzed on cash discrepancies which appear to be N539 billion realized from the sale of seized assets and N504 billion declared by the commission.

A source disclosed to us that the interrogation of the anti-graft Chairman is to allow him clear himself of the huge allegation leveled against him.

Meanwhile, it was gathered that Magu’s lawyer is present on ground and his family is also allowed to see him.
